Elder Jesse Carlson is in the Tempe, AZ mission, spanish speaking. His current assignment is in Yuma, AZ - right on the borders of California and Mexico.
Hello Carlsons! This is the Lindquists from Vancouver, WA and our boys are currently companions down in good ole' Yuma. Elder Lindquist (Scotty) was REALLY happy to be put w Jesse and bragged to us that Elder Carlson was a wrestler, too! Since Scotty has been gone we sure do miss the wrestling...augh. We also got a video clip of them singing their Christmas music and I just realized that Elder Carlson was one of the singers. Seems like there are a lot of missionaires from the Pacific NW being called to the AZ missions. Scotty writes us weekely about his LOVE for the work and it sure makes it easier for him to be gone when we he says "there is no other place I'd want to be right now". Sweet. :)
