Austria

We stayed in the Alps at a little family run Inn, that looked straight out of "Heidi". The band played a concert in Innsbruck.

Switzerland

We loved Switzerland and the Alps. The concert here was in a train station. We found some great souvenirs, Bill found a great car! The swiss emblem with the lion is carved in a mountain in Lucerne.

Beaune, France

We stopped at a picturesque little village in France and the band played a concert in the town square, right by the carousel. Jesse is in the percussions section, and Dallin plays the saxophone.

Notice the Eiffel Tower!

It was very exciting to see the real Eiffel Tower! We went on tour of Paris from the Seine River, and up the tower at night with the lights on.

Carlsons in Europe!

Jesse, Dallin, Bill, and Christine went to Europe with the Soldotna High School Band in March 2009. We flew in to Paris and the band performed a concert on the steps of the cathedral on the highest mountain in Paris.

I tried to decide if I wanted to post this ugly picture, but it is what has been happening to me. Cellulitis, scary word! And why on my face?! It is going away now, what a relief. I really don't want to look like quasimodo. Thanks to Lynn and Home IV.
