Beaune, France

We stopped at a picturesque little village in France and the band played a concert in the town square, right by the carousel. Jesse is in the percussions section, and Dallin plays the saxophone.

Notice the Eiffel Tower!

It was very exciting to see the real Eiffel Tower! We went on tour of Paris from the Seine River, and up the tower at night with the lights on.

Carlsons in Europe!

Jesse, Dallin, Bill, and Christine went to Europe with the Soldotna High School Band in March 2009. We flew in to Paris and the band performed a concert on the steps of the cathedral on the highest mountain in Paris.

I tried to decide if I wanted to post this ugly picture, but it is what has been happening to me. Cellulitis, scary word! And why on my face?! It is going away now, what a relief. I really don't want to look like quasimodo. Thanks to Lynn and Home IV.

More Christmas...

Bruce had Bill drive and he got to go for a ride, with Afton.

More dog sled pictures. Here is a picture of the team.

Bruce works on our dock, and has a dog team. Bill helped him fix up a sled and Grandma negotiated with him to cover over during the holidays and take the family for some sled rides. It was a lot of fun, even though the temperatures were below zero.
